Sweet 16 Party Theme: New Hollywood With Red Carpet

The idea behind this theme is to make it a Hollywood theme by having decor that mocks the Grammys, Emmys or a movie premier complete with the red carpet.
Venue:
Renting a nice clubhouse or a sports club would be great for this theme. Of course you can also make it a Hollywood style After Party and host the party in your backyard.
Attire:
It’s like Halloween for your guests. They have the opportunity to wear a celebrity costume. A great party game would be for guests to guess what celebrity each person is. Your invites could stress to keep their celebrity costume a secret for the purpose of a game that will be played during the celebration.
Entertainment Ideas:
Celebrity Impersonators – You can easily find celebrity impersonators in your area. This is an inexpensive way to have an opportunity for guests to interact with “celebrities” and you can also set up a picture taking station where guests can take their photos with the hired impersonators.
Live Band – You can also hire a local rock band for a few hundred dollars. This will definitely give that Hollywood After Party feel.
Food
Have your affair catered. It doesn’t mean you have to spend hundreds of dollars on food if your budget won’t allow for it. You can order sandwiches from a local sandwich shop plus they will have other platter ideas.
Decor
If hosting the party at home, see about setting up canopies with sheer fabric draped around them. Also purchase some gold stars that you can hang on the fabric
