A roaring 20′s theme is a timeless and classic theme for a party. Even though it is classic, it remains to be very unique theme for teens. Teens love an excuse to buy new clothes and to dress up. The roaring 20′s theme will encourage flapper dresses and zoot suits!

Want to host a 1920s Murder Mystery theme?
Everything you need to assist you in planning the perfect rip roaring 1920′s murder mystery party begins here.

Venue:

This can be anywhere from your home to a ball room. It would be a fantastic idea to mock an intimate night club.

Attire:

Flapper dresses, feathered headband pieces for the ladies and long strands of bead necklaces. Guys should be wearing zoot suits or at least slacks with suspenders with a bright colored dress shirt and a classic “gangster” hats.

Food

Anything in the American diet will work here. Try to make it a fast food based unless that is something the birthday girl insists on.

You can also have a Charleston dance contest for a prize.

Have a photo area set up and take pictures with your digital camera set on black and white.

Decor

Create small tables around the dance floor to give it a nightclub feel. Place small candles on each table and make a mock stage for your jazz band with read curtains. Boy old Coca-Cola posters, Washington Post posters and the like to hang throughout the room.
